The PaygOps Custom App Designer allows last-mile distributors (LMDs) to create a bespoke mobile application focused solely on the most essential tasks and workflows their field agents need, setting it apart from the standard PaygOps Agent App. Using the custom app, agents can instantly access critical processes, such as: client enrolment, product delivery or pickup, issue reporting, device swapping, and many more – without the distraction of additional features that may not be as essential to their role. This enhanced accessibility allows for faster task completion and minimises the chance of human error, creating a smoother, more intuitive workflow for agents in the field.

Earlier this year, we introduced the PaygOps User Journey Editor, a powerful no-code customisation tool within PaygOps that allows users to design and modify workflows and tasks within the desktop platform. The User Journey Editor enables users to create tailored processes without requiring IT expertise or developer support. Now, with the PaygOps Custom App, the user-defined journeys can be incorporated into a dedicated mobile app, ensuring agents can focus on what matters most in the field.

Built on the strength of the User Journey Editor, the Custom App Designer allows admin users to create tailored mobile experiences smoothly from the desktop platform. Begin by creating your user journeys through the User Journey Editor – this step provides the foundation that your custom app will leverage. Once your user journeys are set up, you can access the Custom App Designer to select the specific user journeys and dashboards you’d like your custom app to feature. Once configured, your field agents only need to download the app from the Google Play Store, and instantly access the tailored app that will enable them to streamline their processes.


Additional customisation options


For companies who want to take customisation even further, PaygOps offers a premium branding option. This allows businesses to personalise their custom app with a unique name, logo, splash screen, colour scheme and even a custom description for app listings, enabling them to create a branded experience that reflects their company’s identity.

Instead of the generic "client registration," the process is labelled "Sign up a Farmer"; "Offtaking" becomes "Receive Produce"; and "Product Delivery" is named "Deliver Inputs to Farmer."

This tailored app provides agents with a clear, efficient tool that leverages company-specific language and branding, allowing the ambassadors to access the most essential workflows quickly, following the jargon and procedures they’re most familiar with.
