Solaris Offgrid is excited to announce the effective completion of its integration with Amped Innovation’s WOWsolar product family. Solaris PAYG Platform is now available to all distributors working with Amped Innovation or desiring to do so!

Because adaptability is the primary need of last-mile distributors on their path to profitability, Amped Innovation and Solaris Offgrid put flexibility at the core of their common value proposition.

"We started to work with Amped Innovation late February 2018, the integration was completed 3 weeks later, and by early June, 2 pilots are already in motion in East-Africa. Through this partnership, such flexibility is embodied by the scalability of Amped’s WOWsolar products (see below), the interoperability of both Amped’s products and the Solaris PAYG Platform, and by the customisable features of the Solaris PAYG Platform which are going beyond the simple PAYG functionalities, as Andi Kleissner, co-founder of Amped Innovation, highlights: "Solaris Offgrid is just the partner we’ve been looking for in the off-grid space: open architecture, innovative finance tools, and workflows that boost last-mile operation efficiencies".

"Amped’s WOWsolar products give customers energy without limits" says Andi. With its scalable design, a remote user can start with a base package WOWcontroller coupled with a 10 Watt panel and 4 lamps, and from there easily add a WOWsolarTV and just keep on increasing its power capacity. WOWsolar can manage up to 400W of solar panel and 1600Wh of battery, and provides the customer the freedom to choose either lithium or lead acid. WOWsolar is one of the most flexible and scalable off-grid product in the industry, supporting families in the most remote areas with efficient appliances, including ice makers and water pumps.
